Booking.com is always on the lookout for good developers on-site in the center of Amsterdam. We are hiring to support our tremendous year over year growth. We are looking for people to relocate to Amsterdam, and will assist anyone with obtaining a work/residence permit for you and your dependents (if applicable). We hire strong technical people for the development and scaling of our website and supporting infrastructure.
We use Perl, mySQL, Linux, git and Apache2. Experience with the web is a plus. Good technical people will pick this stuff up quickly, so we don't require people to know these technologies specifically.
Your job will be to design and develop secure, scalable and high performance web based systems. You should be able to take a task and do everything needed to get it done and rolled out. You will work in a small team ( 4 -6 ) of high end developers speaking directly with our business people to fulfill the needs of our site. We hire experienced people or those with high potential, including some big names from the Perl and mySQL world.
We work in English, and expect you to have a strong grasp of the language.

Prague, Czech Republic - REMOTE possible - RoR dev - 360cities.net
We are looking for an experienced Ruby on Rails developer to add to our small team. It would be better if you are on Prague, but remote candidates are welcome too. You will be working with an existing application with a very small team. You will be adding new features, rewriting some parts of the code, and sometimes also maintaining the existing codebase.
