I’m a girl, aged 14, based in the North – working on a tech startup

I hate having to make excuses and I hate seeing others do so too. If something is physically possible then you can achieve it if you try hard enough (you definitely can’t grow wings and fly though). I’m loving the young tech/startup/entrepreneur community and I’d like to share my opinion on why there’s negativity towards some people involved.

I guess the point is, its a girl with not a lot life experience maybe talking a bit to smart-ass for some people. The style of writing of the article also adds to this, its way to hyped. But c´mon: she 14 and doing some exciting stuff - surely shes a bit overtorqued.
And she definitively has a point regarding their age-mates - too few of them, and too few of all people, have a spirit of 'doing cool stuff' in general. Doesn´t necessarily mean to be tech-related.
However I wouldn´t name propelly a startup, maybe more a really cool internship project with startup potential.
Thanks for sharing. We have just written a blog post on this.
This story is really inspiring and shows the amount of talented young people around the place. Certainly makes it difficult to make excuses when teenagers are executing smart products.
Unsure about any negativity. Jealousy?
