Developer and Product Manager positions in Berlin
(hascore.com)
I have a lot of friends looking for a job and I thought that the best way for helping them was to create a website for Product Development positions. I was talking with some developers, making user discovering and this is the result of those conversations. I hope it will help you.

Nice project, I specially like the design.
One question though, were are those openings coming from? It's seem that you have seeded the DB with companies, but you also allow companies to submit their info. Did you use some open source of data? I'm specially curious about the source of the job openings.
As a side note, I don't really get the reference "Hascore provides valuable information on Berlin internet companies - we focus on the core of these companies which is the Product Development", given that most positions are not for Product Development (at least understood in a narrow sense).
Thx!
1.- In the beginning I wrote ruby scrappers for getting companies from everywhere. Regarding the positions we are adding them manually for now but we are preparing an interface just for companies. Our goal at this stage is to create value for the user, as much as we can through every feature who comes to urs minds. If you have ideas it would great if you can tell us.
2.- Product Development needs a better explanation, we understand it as all the people involved in the development of the product: devs, QA, product managers, data analysts, business intelligence, ux.... Let's say the more technical positions in a company. I take note and I will explain better.
I can see that you are creating the positions manually, the quality of the info is really good (point in case: http://hascore.com/companies/cloudcontrol/positions/backend-developer-python). It's going to be a pain to keep adding or reviewing posts manually, though.
Anyway, you'll always have to be careful with this aspect in the future. At some point, if you grow popular, a horde of recruiters is going to try to take over your site, and they'll probably post dozens of low quality job offers. You'll have to curate posts before they are published, if you want to keep the high-quality feeling that hascore currently provides.
Something I miss in the positions is the date when the position was added (or will expire), and the original page with the opening if it exists (although adding the original source may work against you if the company never learns about hascore). It may also be useful to get a LinkedIn profile of the company (or since this is a Berlin based site, a Xing one).
Do you have any plans to open the site up to other cities beyond Berlin?
Good ideas pardocz and thank you for the feedback.

Clean design, I love it.
Please, when you have no results, give more visibility to the message "We are sorry but we have no position....".
Thx!, Yes, we have to improve some usability issues, you are totally right.

Nice, I actually sent out a few inquiries for rails jobs in Berlin even though im Swedish. Clean, easy site. I like it.
(Perhaps you don't need to animate the graphs at the right side every page load)
We will think about the animations!! Tell the companies that you're coming from Hascore :) Karma :P
