Exciting days here in Barcelona. Despite the Spanish economic depression that we can read everyday on newspapers, Barcelona has a vibrant start-up community that requires high-tech development! We just spinned-off from the university and created Medialab Barcelona, a development company to help entrepreneurs materialize their business ideas.

We are seeing that local start-ups but also international start-ups come to Barcelona for its mixture of creativity, talent, good facilities and also, why not, sunny weather and good food!.

For a Norwegian company we have started a project of global impact laying the foundation for internet of things combining security  and machine-to-machine communications. What this company has done is awesome, they have patented a secure communications technology that are starting to sell an deploy around the globe. The biggest players in the market are standing in line to pilot their world patented technology... this company has a lot in store - did I mention internet of things!
