I can't say I feel the same, especially because I haven't ever been to the SV yet. But it's an interesting perspective. In Italy there is for sure a lot of movement - it is to be seen what good will come out of it, but there is. What about other places?
PS a post like this shows why we need HE. This got 4 points on HN. At least here there is time for it to make it to the home page.
I agree with you. The article might be a bit over-optimistic, and I don't know the SV perspective to speak for it, but I do see a lot emerging from Europe right now. I believe we are on the path to do great things, but we still have a long run to talk.
PS: oh boy, I wish this place was more active.
Yes, it's really a pity how this website is going. I think that the only way to try and save it would be to get a little organized between the ones who care most. What do you think?
We know there's a demand for something like this for Europe and maybe a HN-copy is not the solution, like we talked on the 'Why is HE dying' discussion.

I'm honored. Like most of us I guess, I don't have so much free time though - so we need a team ;)
